About This Program

Marketing guru Joe Chernov has said, “Good marketing makes the company look smart. Great marketing makes the customer feel smart.”

As a student in MSU Denver’s Marketing program, you will study in the University’s AACSB-accredited College of Business where you will learn to put your creativity to use helping companies and organizations get smart about Marketing.

At a basic level, Marketing is the function that influences people to buy products and services. This can involve almost every part of an organization from customer service, sales and advertising to brand development, employee relations and social media.

In the classroom and in applied-learning situations, you will get a sound foundation in general business as well as develop Marketing expertise. MSU Denver even offers opportunities working with professors who have industry experience, giving you plenty of chances to gain career-relevant skills collaborating with Denver-area businesses on creating marketing strategies, conducting market research and developing marketing and advertising campaigns. Plus you can avail yourself of internships and study abroad opportunities that will help you acquire a sophisticated, globally aware marketing perspective.
