We offer two courses in Chinese that meet some of your required General Studies categories:
- Elementary Chinese I (Oral Communication)
- Elementary Chinese II (Arts & Humanities, Global Diversity)
Chinese Courses
Open to students with no previous experience in Chinese this introductory course stresses:
- Pronunciation
- Speaking
- Listening
- Writing
Learn the four tones of the Chinese sound system and develop functional communicative language skills.
This course is a continuation of CHI 1010 and focuses on skills development in:
- Listening
- Speaking
- Reading
- Writing
